Teletrol TSC/OPB Protocol

Teletrol TSC/OPB communication driver is the driver to communicate with TSC/OPB controller of Teletrol Corp, in America.

1. Read settings

<Figure 1> is read setting example of Teletrol TSC/OPB controller communication driver.

<Figure 1> Read setting example of Teletrol TSC/OPB controller communication driver

Device part of <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(19200), Parity Bit(1), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1), TxFlow(TxRTS), RxFlow(RxECHO), TxFlow read time(350 msec), RxFlow read time(350 msec) respectively, according to equipment.

Also, you can enter Source device number(Default : -3) and delay time of before and after digital/analog output(Default : 600 msec).

You can set Teletrol TSC/OPB controller's read schedule.

READ STATION Read Command Read Start Address Save Start Address for Communication Server Read Size
READ, 1, 1, 24, 1, 30,
READ, 2, 1, 24, 61, 30,

1) Station : 1 ~ 65535

2) Read command :  A – Status value + Current value, Etc – Current value.

3) Read Start Address : 1 ~.

4) Save start address for Communication Server : Saving start address of Communication Server.

5) Read Size: Number of items to read at a time.

When read command is A, following 2 contents are saved to memory.

Save Addr + 0 : Status value(Attribute value).

Save Addr + 1 : Current value(value).

2. Writing settings

Digital Write

Digital write setting parameters are as follows :

PORT    Connected PORT number            0 ~ 255

STATION             Station number

ADDRESS           Output address              Digital output address 1 ~

EXTRA2               Status value                 1 – SetVal, Etc – Lock etc

Write example)

Port : 0, Station:1 Address:0021, Extra2 : 1

The setting parameter shown above is example of changing(ON/OFF) no.21 status value of Teletrol controller.

Analog Write

Analog write setting parameters are as follows :

PORT                  Connected PORT number            0 ~ 255

STATION             Station number

ADDRESS           Normal - Analog output address between 1 and 512 value, OP – OPB item index or page number, VA – Variable number.

EXTRA2               Status value                 1 – SetVal, Etc – Lock etc

Write example)

Port : 0  Station:1  Address : 0025  Extra2 : 1,

The setting parameter shown above is analog writing example of changing no.25 SetVal value for Teletrol TSC/OPB controller.
